About Us Mirfield Tennis Club

Mirfield Tennis Club has existed since at least 1880 and is a not-for-profit, community club run by a volunteer committee.  It runs alongside and with support from Kirklees Council, whilst also being affiliated with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA).

  • Clubhouse with changing room, shower, kitchen and social facilities
  • Group and individual coaching sessions
  • Use of ball machine
  • Year round social tennis
  • Teams within multiple local leagues


We welcome all players, whether new to the sport, a confident player or returning to tennis after time away. We hope that our facilities are welcoming to new members and that members settle in quickly and get involved in club events from the start. We have a substantial junior coaching programme and cater for all, including families, seniors and couples.

With a large membership, a number of league teams and regular events held, Mirfield Tennis Club could be the perfect opportunity to improve exposure of your company. As a community, not-for-profit club, we are always open to involvement from local and national companies.
